Lincoln Park

La Alma–Lincoln Park is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Denver, and it still reads that way on the ground: narrow lots, brick cottages, mature street trees, and a grid laid out long before anyone was designing for cars. Lincoln Park is one of the better-connected neighborhoods in Denver for anyone who would rather not drive everywhere. The 10th & Osage light rail station sits inside the neighborhood, the Auraria campus and Ball Arena are a short walk east, and a 94 Bike Score means the South Platte trail system, downtown, and Baker are all reachable on two wheels.

Housing is a genuine mix: original Victorian-era cottages, mid-century infill, newer townhomes, and the Mariposa District redevelopment on the neighborhood’s western side. That variety means the price range here is wider than in most central Denver neighborhoods, which is part of what makes it worth a look.
