Green Valley Ranch is a large master-planned community in Denver’s far northeast corner, north of Montbello and along Pena Boulevard on the way to the airport. On the city’s map it is part of Gateway-Green Valley Ranch, which had about 45,000 residents in 2020, making it one of the most populous neighborhoods in Denver.
Most of Green Valley Ranch has been built since the 1990s, with builders like Oakwood Homes still adding new phases. The Gateway area along Pena Boulevard and I-70 has hotels, offices and shopping, while the residential sections to the north and east are almost all homes.
What the homes are like
You will find two-story single-family homes with attached garages, many with finished basements, along with paired homes, townhomes and some apartments. It is one of the few places inside Denver where you can buy new construction at a price well below the city average.

Green Valley Ranch Golf Club has an 18-hole course, a 9-hole par-3 course and a practice facility. The neighborhood has community pools, a recreation center, parks and trails. The 61st and Pena station on the A Line runs to Union Station and DIA, and the airport is about 15 minutes away by car.
